Default Day time running lights

I sure hope that someone can help me. This afternoon I got in my car, and when I turned it over, the little green light that shows that my DRL's are on, started flashing, then went out. I have owned my satty for one year now, and the green light always stays on until I have to switch over to regular head lights. I dont think that my day driving lights are even working. I know that I have to replace the passenger side headlight and housing, as I have a little water in the housing. But could that cause both of mine DRL's to go out? Any suggestions are always appreciated. GOD I think my car is haunted. Every time I talk about modding it, some thing breaks, and makes me have to spend my saved money. Oh yeah, car is a 2001 SC2, autotragic, with like 70000 miles.

Do your regular headlights work, and do the brights work? Perhaps you've blown both bulbs. Aside from that, you might check the relay in the fuse box under the hood. It's a big square one at the back of the box.

Thanks for the help, turned out that i had blown the bulb. I pulled the headlight housing, dried it, and then put some clear sealent around the egdes. Now the only problem, is that my headlight is dim. Oh well, at least you can still see it.
