I'm having issues with my front passenger side power window. The motor seems strong as the window rolls down with no problem. However when I attempt to roll it up it won't roll up consistently. I have to play with the switch (pull is half way vs. pulling the roll up switch all the way). Again when it finally rolls up the motor power seems more than adequate and the window will roll up.

Does this sound like a switch issue? Does this sound like a regulator issue? If it is the regulator where would that be located? If it's the switch I'm guessing I should try pulling the switch panel out of the center console and see if there are any contact points that I can clean otherwise order a new switch from saturn?

I would lean more to the switch as the problem. Worth removing it to check the contacts in it. If you are careful you can pull it apart to get to the contacts and inspect/clean them.

+1 for the switch. If you have a locak junk yard, head over there for another one instead of the dealer if you decide if cleaning it doesnt help
