| so you're almost done installing them? sweet. that means ill me next soon. i know my car needs them bad. including the upper mount. im going to get an upper mount from someone at the dealer [used but it good condition] and seal it with window weld and let it sit for a week. that'll help keep the engine from dancing around in the bay..
keep us updated when you get them in and post results.

| DrPrelude,
That one you are about to take out is the WRONG type of dogbone (check my pictures), so since you have the right style dogbone out already, send it ASAP. I specifically posted a picture so this WOULD NOT HAPPEN......now we are dealing short a dogbone, not good for the others that want to participate........
Fortunately I still have one dogbone in the right style just sitting, but that ain't the point, I had to pay for extra one I have sitting around, it is like costing me now.............
To the rest of you, if you have the wrong style dogbones I can't do this on a swap basis, so BEFORE I do BoBo's and the one other that wants these,
CHECK THE FRIGGIN' DOG'S FIRST!!!!! Both of them, the top one is easy, the other one you might have to get a little dirt on you........
Then get back to me. I can get the right doggies, but each replacement shell costs an ADDITIONAL $30 (my cost). Think about it...........you would have to go buy another one even if you did the pressing yourself........
Also, if you only change one, then go driving, I assume NO RESPONSIBILITY if you tank the other mounts on your car, you are asking for trouble if you do, one tight dog and then the other loose mounts and the enigine is gonna torque funny in the engine bay.........could cause some breakage elsewhere....
Slick how they fit, though, huh???

| well since it was my mistake anyways i gan get the right one from a local junkyard and my cost, don't worry as long as bob can wait an extra day before i ship. you'll get your part bldeagle im not going to leave you hanging im not like that.
either that or i'll just go to napa or advanced and buy a new one (right style!) and pass it off to you in the mail at a later date but again i promise i willl get you the replacement. again very sorry i honestly took a quick peek and didn't inspect the bottom one around the seems.

| kool on the part replacement. i just had a bad day dealing with a car insurance claim from way back in November, 2004, so i was wound up pretty good when i saw the pic you posted..............
i already PM'd Bobo, and i am sure he has an 'eye' on stuffs.
thanks on the part replacement at your end, i really didn't want to go to the junkyard, so far, i have completely avoided it with this car..........plus my commute covers about 2.5 to 4 hours a day, depending on traffic and accidents, so i don't have a whole lot of spare time in my day to go parts chasing.
