is it really cold out? My car has been doing the same thing, but only when it's very cold. Everything seems fine, though.

Well I hit really really hard but nothing! Oh and it isn't cold out here in az, 40s to 70s! Maybe if I switch out the over flow res that might fix it! But if there are more options for this problem to stop let me know please! Thanks Jts749 and PurdueGuy for your input!

i had the same prob for over a year. its really not that big of a deal unless your loosing coolent. it might be that the coolent level sensor is gunked up and cant get a good reading. or in my case, i had a new radiator put in and the guy forgot to plug the overflow sensor in, so it sent a code. just try those.

Hm... I doubt this will help you but I recently had a new engine put in my SC1 and when that was done my light would come on after around 100 miles of driving and i'd have to fill it up again.... same thing would happen and eventually I found out that it was the water pump.... had to be replaced... this probably won't help you out (sorry) but maybe it will help someone with same problems i had.

Your sensor was probably just bad.

I meant, your sensor was probably dirty, or bad. But more than likely dirty.
