Default Engine exchange from 99 into 97 SL2

I have a 97 SL2 the timing chain came apart and you know the rest of the story. Found a good deal on a 99 SL2 that was wrecked. I have searched here and understand there may be issues with some elctrical items and the exhaust manifold.
Are there any other issues I would face in putting the 99 engine into the 97? I do have experience swapping like engines on Fords, etc. but not from 2 MY different.

VIN to the 99 is 1G8ZK5270XZ248399
VIN to the 97 is 1G8ZK5276V2394514

Thanks!
Scott

Go to saturnwiki.net for particulars. 95-97 would be plug and play.

Thanks....I can't seem to find any 97 engines near me that have less than 150k on the clock. The 99's I found have less mileage.
I'll keep looking, would be great to get the whole car and get other parts off as well.

I have several. One is in a wrecked car with 46k original. It runs great but is hit too hard to put back on the road. If you would put your approx. location in your ID, I would be able to tell you if this info would even be useful to you.

I am in central NC. I forgot to state this is the DOHC engine also.

I had a hunch it was the DOHC engine. I've replaced at least 35 of them and only 2 or 3 SOHC engines. During those years they had porous head issues (that's where the oil contaminates the coolant). Anyway I stocked up on the 95-97 engines and still have a few left. I have a Saturn treasure yard (about 35 cars) so, if you need any other parts, give me a shout. The freight would be prohibitive on heavier items, so keep that in mind.
