The cylinders are labeled 1-2-3-4 with the cylinder near the passenger side labeled as cyl #1. The cylinder closest to the battery is Cyl #4. At the coil packs however, it goes 4-1-2-3. This is important that the wires are correct as it will give you issue if they are not.
As for your problem...you have a bad intake gasket. refer to my how-to in the other section. Replace that and youll be good to go

You are right. I guess I should not try to work on my car in the middle of the day here in Houston!I feel like my brain is baked. I am going to take care of this, hopefully last, problem.
