Default I'm new here, and I'm looking for some insight.

This is my first post here, but I have read a little bit on this forum. I have searched and came up with roughly 100 hits for "throttle body mod". Could anyone please fill me in as to what this mod is, and what benefits would be gained from it? Thanks for any info.
