Default Intake manifold gasket on 02 SL change time

Took my saturn sl to Monro because the service engine soon light was on. Mechanic thought a tune up ( new plugs, wires, and serpentine belt as old one was in ruff shape) would take care of it. The light stayed on and the car still idles ruff. Took it to GM service center. They say the intake manifold gasket is leaking and needs replaced. They say the part will cost me $91 and it will require 5 hours of labor at 100 per hour. This is too much for me so i was wondering how difficult it would be to change it myself and how long it would probably take if I followed a Chilton's or Haynes manual to the letter? Thanks guys

Welcome to the Board.

Check the sticky in the "how do you fix this" section.

'00-'02 SOHC Intake Manifold Gasket Replacement How-to

The part price they quoted you is high as is the 5 hours labour. If I recall correctly the labour should be about 4 hours.
