so are the hood scoops functional for the electric supercharger?...

Looks to me like they're just functional in the sense that they let more air into the engine compartment, which, IMO, is only semi-functional. True functional hood scoops would go straight into a ram intake setup.

Ok, then it looks like they are semi-functional for the electric supercharger in the sense that they let more air into the engine compartment. I sure don't see any ducts leading to the electric supercharger.
