Default oil pump

I have a 97 SW2 which has 135,400 miles. To my knowledge the oil pump has never been replaced. Does anyone know how long oil pumps in these engines usually last? Is it worth it to replace an oil pump at a certain number of miles to prevent its failure from ruining an engine?

Ive never heard of anyone replacing the oil pump bc it went bad. Usually, if they have the engine out and are workin on it they will replace it, otherwise its left alone.

Ive had no issues on any of my saturns with the oil pump
