i have a 2002 sc1, what kinda engine would i have? a dohc? or a sohc?

you have the SOHC, the number is what tells you which engine 1= SOHC 2= DOHC

Or just look on the valve cover, it will say twin cam if its dohc, and just ohc if its sohc. Not sure if all sohcs had the same metal valve cover, but I know if youre dohc it will be black. Not really hard to tell at all. But yea, SC1 is sohc.
