Default Replacing valve cover gasket. How2?

Replacing valve cover gasket straight forward? Special tools for the inside gaskets around plugs, etc?

sohc, you will need a I think it's a 45 torx.. dohc is a 10mm socket. rember to fully remove all the crap off the head and valve cover.. befor reinstalling the new one.. also apply a good dime size aqmmount of sealent where the timing chain cover meets the head, on both cracks.. this will make sure in it not leaking..

Which side is timing chain cover? Can I see it, or what should I look for?

if your looking at the motor from the front of the car its on your right side. (the side with the belts on it).

I ended up using RTV and a gasket and just did the whole head. No leaks. Took her for a 70 mile trip and came back dry
