I have a 97 SL2 and it creaks and moans even tiny little bump i go over, and it's coming from the rear. I went to a place to get it checked out and they said my rear end links needed to be replaced. Is that right? Where can I get them? Anything else it could be?
Very good chance that it is the rear sway bar links. When they sieze they can make a good bit of noise.
Where can you get them? Saturn.
Possibly aftermarket part stores.
Anythin gelse it could be? Yes. Easy to check yourself. Reach in behind the wheel and grab the link. Try to move it rotationally/side to side. They are a ball and cup joint so they pivot. If they don't move or move very hard they are no good.
