Just to update, my dealership helped me get a new loan/car after my insurance paid off the SL2. I basically had to take what I could get..because I couldn't get to work. a 2001 SL2 5spd got sold before I could put up a down payment. The next available car was an auto 03 Ion 2 QC [20,100 miles]. I was bummed [relatively speaking] to get another auto..since I learned how to drive stick shortly after getting the SL2, but I needed something to get my a** to work. So, yeah. I have a low-mileage Ion now. I'm diggin it. I still miss my 98. .but, it's a nice car. It rides smoothly and has surprisingly good torque. And well..it's a Saturn. Not that I have a right to be critical, because I'm fortunate to be in something so soon after the accident, but it sits a little high and 15s are undersized.. but, I've got some plans. [lightweight 17s, 2" drop, upgraded audio.. cai, catback exhaust.. basically everything i did to my sl2. maybe a few other things.]
