Default Alittle update about me and my car

Well I am sorry to say it, but it looks like I will be leaving the car show buisness for alittle while.............

The car isn't that big of a hit this year, and I haven't even taken a 1st place yet, the downside is my interior, nobody likes it, understands it, the judges just think that it isn't done.

Now I ain't *****ing or anything, I don't care what they think, I have failed in the making of the beast, I didn't portray it right, ect, ect, and I don't think that people are ready for what I did. On top of it, the main reason I don't like it is because I am not getting the props and respect (NOT from the boards, but the shows, you guys are all great)

So this is what I am going todo, my car will be taken out of commission for a indefinate period of time, no progress updates, no pics, ect, my baby WILL be getting rebuilt, ground up, more suspension mods, more engine, more exterior, more multimedia and a COMPLETE interior removal and rebuild, hell not one piece will be the same as it is right now. I have a new theme, and it will pwn all.............also f u c k lambo and suicide doors, I have a killer idea for that too.............

Thanks for all the support over the last while, I will keep in touch, and depending on how I feel post so teaser pics of my baby.......

Jeremy

why dont you change the game some. alot of judges do like functional stuff. and things with a purpose. gauges and need to be there, not just there to be there.SOME WHEELS THAT ARE DIFFERENT, UNIQUE!!! there is alot i could say but i dont feel like typing it all right now. just AIM me at SCUSTOM1. I have done over 20shows. (car show judge). so jsut hit me up with what we really think

regardless of what they say, your car is bad ass bro. I tip my hat to you and to cameron for pulling no punches. Piss on them. Do what you like. Good luck with what you've got planned and don't give up. Can't wait to see what you've got in store for everyone.

Jeremy,
the thing about a car is this: You do what you want to your car, and that's it...when it comes to fixing up a car, you do what you like, not what's trendy. Trends come and go so often, that it's good you brought something new to the table. If you want to do it differently because you want it done, then that's fine...BUT if you want to change it just to get in a magazine or gain acceptance from a bunch of close-minded losers on most of the message boards or at car shows, then that's a problem. Who's to say that people will love the next go-around? You could dump another $XX,XXX into it, and STILL not gain acceptance. Hell, if I paid attention to what people said and took their comments to heart, I wouldnt' have done 1/2 of what I've done so far.

Jeremy, your car is mint. I love that car and still remember the days of it being stock at our meets. You've gained alot of acceptance whether you know it or not. Heck, even a tech at my dealership has seen your car online, and I wasn't the one that brought you up i conversation, he brought it up to me. LOL

Cam is right, you have to do things the way you want, not the way others want. If you're not in it for you, then your wasting alot of your time and money on that car. The only thing I would love for you to do to that car, as for my own opinion, is to do rear suicide doors that open 75-80 degrees (whatever angle the fronts open up at). I say get rid of that vinyl you just put on, and try something more different. wavy lines, graphics or something like that, if you really wanted to mask up your paint flaws, lol

Whatever you decide to do, you got my props for a job very well done man.

I aint' doing it for acceptance, I am doing it cause it has to be done, I like the interior, but the new idea is soooooo bad ass you have no idea, hints, all the interior panels are prettymuch going in the garbage, dash and all, val I will probably show you the concept pics that I have, and when you see them, you will sh!t yourself.
The idea for the interior was good, but excecution of it was hard and I failed, that is why I have to do it over, also I am sick of not having major engine mods, so I am going to work on that too. Also going to work on the suspension, and clean up the exterior, that is one thing that I will not touch.

judges take one look at a car and are like yech its not done then they think the worst of it. when most people see ur dash it doesnt look done, BUT if you have a mural of saturn or saturns moons or sumpin airbrushed on the outside of ur car then people would understand better. just some thought for ya tho. you do have one helluva nice ride and after all it IS a saturn. do you really wanna overhaul everything just to get attention. thats gonna cost alot of money. i just think you need to portray it just a lil better. do the solar system mural on the outside and make saturn the BIGGEST planet there so it stands out. keep in mind most people arent familiar with space which is why they dont understand ur dash.
