Default Brake pads

Ok so I went out and got new brake pads for my car..there like these 'green stuff' brake pads, supposed to be low dust from them. So after a month of driving and cleaning my rims and then driving again I noticed that these pads put off more dust than my old ones...at least it seems that way. So this is more of a way to find out really good ones than anything. What brake pads do most of you use in order to cut back on brake dust?

ditto. and i have white wheels so dust is very apparent on them, the ceramic pads are low dust and the dust they do put off is very light in color is its hard to notice

The EBC Green-Stuffs you got are very nice pads. However, they're geared more towards performance than aesthetics, so they'll put out more dust. EBC also has a Red-Stuff pad that is ceramic, and will produce less dust. However, with less dust, you'll also get lesser braking performance.

Average co-efficients of friction:
GreenStuff = 5.5
RedStuff = 5.0

I highly recommend that you read this article.

Actually the green stuff's are the better pad for street / autocross type conditions. The red stuff pads are much better with high heat, like road racing. They are both very exceptional pads.

My pick would have to be the Hawk HPS pads. I have them on front and rear of my car, and I really don't think dust is much of a problem. I may have to wash like once a week because of them, which isn't bad imho. And response and braking strength is awesome with them.
