Default Don't Buy a Saturn L-Series WITHOUT side air bags.

I was watching TechLive on TechTV and they talked about how various midsized sedans rated poor among side impact testing leading to death or serious injury. This includes the L-Series. Make sure you get the side air bags, they seem worth it. How ever they did not mention anything about compacts such as the S-Series. From what I see they seem to be standard but check... I remember coldsolderjoint was told he had ABS but he didn't.

My VW Jetta had the side air bags deploy when I crashed.

They worked TOO well. I saw my intercooler ripped into 2 aluminum shreads.

My ION doesn't because I don't want to see the wreckage if I screw up.
