Default drive axles

those of you who have had your saturns lowered, how often do you replace drive shafts because the cv joints are worn out due to the lower ride height?

I had Eibach springs on my 97 SC2, never once had to replace the CV axle(s) due to it being "too low".

i want to get my suspension check to see fi anything is "bad". stuff like broken axles scares me. i see cars in the middle of the street all the time with a wheel WAY in its fender.

I think what sl2fast is referring to is how lowering your Saturn supposedly "eats up" the CV joints. So rather than your wheel getting jammed in your fenderwell, you'd only lose power and hear loud clicking noises whenever you applied throttle. Anyhow, you'd most likely have the classic "clicking while turning" symptom for a week or two before it'd actually break completely.

Interesting, because I have been hearing odd noises when I turn for the past month now.
