Default got a question


im looking for a remanufactured crankshaft kit for my 92 sl, the kit i found says will fit from 93-99 1.9L 119CI engine., but i thought the 92's had the exact same engines? so will it fit mine?

I read the guide to interchageable parts on Saturn engines.

The 91 and 92 crankshafts had a different design for the trigger on the crankshaft position sensor.

Installing a 93-up crankshaft would result in the ignition timing being 10 degrees off.

I guess the best thing would be to take your 92 crankshaft to an automotive machinist and have it worked on.
