Default Help with tires,Please

I got some tires a few weeks ago and have took my SW2 back 4 times to get them rebalanced because it shakes alittle. It just seems that they cant do it.The old tires didnt seem to do that,or at least that bad.

He said they are Kelly tires, but they are called "Good Ride",made in China by Kelly.

Could it be the tires?,the balancer?,or the person doin it?

He said he had a 30 day garranty,if you dont like them,he'll put on a set of my choice, for the price difference,of course. But I was thinking of getting Good Year Viva 2's (made in USA) for the replacement tires. Those should be about the same price.

Should I get them rebalanced again or exchange them and find out it was the balance machine after all?

I dont want to cheat him out of anything. But it was his idea in the first place.

Thanks,

well a shake could be a few things, id say take it somewhere else, and have them check the tires for you. That way you then eliminate that person, and that machine. just an idea.

I have thought of that,But I'ld have to pay for it out of my pocket.I might go back and tell to try it one more time before he replaces them, just to see what happens.

Because the tires are made in China, does that mean they are bad?
Would the "USA" Good Years be a better tire?

not necessarily, i have Federal Tires, and they are made in Australia. And i have some tires that i used that were made somewhere else, and they were fine.

and i know you would have to pay for that...another idea. Have someone else at the same shop do it. Maybe that one person is just stupid and doesnt know what he is doing.

If the goodyears are about the same price, I would try those out. If they still shake then its either the mechanic or the machine and you should probably go somewhere else.
Plus, I havent ever heard of Kelly, and everything I've heard about Goodyears is excellent (I havent used any of their tires myself, so no firsthand experience).

my $0.02

Kelly Springfield tires,I've heard of those since I was a kid.

When I look at the tread,I think it would hydro-plane easy, but I dont really know much about tires either. The last tires were on it when I bought it and they were made in China and seemed to ride pretty good.I got about 30,000 mile off of them and the were probly had about 2/3 tread on them.So I think they last decent.

If I knew how post pics,I would show you.

97dbsl2,I have been going on Saturday morning, they still might be 1/2 drunk from the nite before.I might need to go in the afternoon or on a weekday to give time for the brain to clear up.
