Default How do I get wax off the plastic?

Did a wash/polish/wax job on the car friday night, and in the process got some of the wax on the plastic rings around the door locks, and on the door handles. So far I've tried oops and mineral spirits (and scrubbed a bit with a glass cleaning wipe after I'd cleaned the windows, just for the heck of it). What will get this stuff off?

I use Mothers Back to Black, seems to work pretty good. It will take the white stuff from wax off all your trim around your windows and stuff. Works good on rubber trip, plastic trim, and I even have used it on my black bumpers and it makes em dark black again. Stuff kinda sucks though if you get it on the paint cuz it takes the wax off. Spots right by trims are the worst to wax.

Is it potent enough to use on a Q-tip or something, or does it still take some real scrubbing? Hard to scrub those little keyhole rings without hitting paint.
