Default How Many Miles Do You Have on Your Saturn?

I am in need for a four door, four cylinder car with an automatic and the Saturn Ion is one of my choices. I put a couple of thousand miles on a car a month and keep my cars for at least 200,000 miles. Is there anyone out there that has keep their automatic transmission Saturn for at least 200,000 miles? If you have had it for that long, have you ever had to replace the engine or transmission? How many miles did you have on it when you did? Or if you have never changed the engine or transmission, please tell me that too. Any help will be appreciated.

Since the Ion is so new, its not really rated yet....as far as the mileage and Depreciation goes. I have an Ion and I love it. It runs great and is a fun car to drive. The Ion is highly underrated, but take the advice from the Ion owners on this board, it is a very good car!

I have had two other Saturns that both had over 130k miles when I got rid of them. They all had original tranny and engine.

Like Agilab said, the IONs are too new to really know. Mine has 2000 miles on it, lol. I really like the car. No complaints here.

you didn't really have an option for me to pick...

i have a '94 SW2 auto that is getting it's second engine and tranny as we speak. it currently has 205 thousand miles.

my single cam SL is edging ever closer to 98,000 in it's original engine and tranny.

Well when I just pulled the old instrument gauges out they said 400k+. Not sure how many engine and tranny swaps its had though. At least one plus the engine swap I just did. My other engine wasn't blown or anything though. Just burned too much oil, and was lackin some power.

101,821...replaced tranny, halfshaft, alt....hell, I don't remember what else. I know it isn't as bad as many others here, but it sucks for me.
