The L-series isn't popular to mod, probably largely because it's newer, thus it costs more and fewer teenagers have it. Also, it's heavier and neither engine exactly oozes with power for the car's size. They are nice cars, though, just not as popular for modding, which tends to be what motivates people to find a forum. To my knowledge there is no L-series forum. Saturnfans does have the highest population of the saturn forums, probably, but a lot of people agree that it just isn't as good overall. Something about the layout of the forum, and just the general attitude of the forum that I don't like nearly as much as several other forums. It's not a bad attitude, just feels... generic, bland.
