Default Kubo and SMS break into the 7's

Well Saturn was the first to make it into the 7's in the Pro FWD class. Now all she has to do is back up that time within 1% durin todays eliminations to make it official.

She ran a 7.963 at 180.83mph to claim the #1 qualifying spot.

what exactly does she run to run 7's? my buddy's dad has a 65 sting ray that runs consistant 7.80 at norwalk. he won the "fastest car in ohio" award at norwalk a few years ago . . . so christ she must've done lots of work to the saturn.

Craig Paisley (I think that's who you are referring to) is a ProRWD, not ProFWD driver. ProRWD has it much easier in terms of getting traction since the ProFWD cars have physics against them and an engine that prevents massive slicks.

As far as I know, Kubo is the first and only in the 7s as of now.

This year you will see many more ProFWD cars making it to the 7 second range, still cool that a Saturn was the first............
