| KYB struts??? i just ordered h$r sport springs, and tried to order the kybs to, but the guy said they are not supposed to be used with lowering springs. should i get them anyway? help

| They are stiffer (front, anyways), and thus fine for lowering.
Lots of people have used them without issues, myself included.
The only real issue is that the back has too much travel and not enough stiffness...but unless you're going to drop $1000+ on a coilover set, this is your best bet.
$175 shipped for a set of 4 on eBay.

| Pretty much any strut will say that it's not meant to be used with lowering springs, because the lowering springs will lessen the life of the strut. Doesn't mean they won't work fine. |

| does the rear have struts or shocks? everytime i see them on ebay they say front struts and rear shocks why is this?

| I have springtech struts in my car. They have a lot of dampening, and are made by Sprint (which also makes lowering springs) but i'm not sure on the dampening rates. Its pretty stiff with just stock springs though  I like it... a lot.
I'll probably get KYB's for my beater car though. |

| anyone know where to get the ST struts? im thinkin of gettin em untill my amr's get here. the front kybs are getting to soft for my h &r's. oh, and damn, i cant believe someone reopened a thread this old

they carried S series springs and shocks not that long ago, bet they can find a set for you.
you can call them, a very helpful lady will give you all the answers.

| so if the back seat is carrying people how much will the back end sag? are the Spritn struts the stiffest around then?
