Default Performance switch-


ran a quick search no topics that i saw quickly-- whats perf switch do and hows it work-- need to know for gfs dad's boss's son. hes got a 99 S?? im thinkin sc2 prolly.

It increases transmission fluid pressures and gives higher shift points.

And they stopped them in '97 or '98....I wanna say '97. The PCM automatically does it now, depending on how hard you hit the gas and for how long.

It also increases shift firmness.

I really don't notice a difference at WOT. My car shifts hard at redline either way.
