I would expect it to throw a code and light your check engine light. Then you could have advanceautopepboyzone check the code (if you have a '96+).

What are the symptoms?

(btw, this is more of a "technical" thread...)

OK let me explain my SL2 troubling past. I got my SL2 about 1/2 a year ago. I got it for 2000 with 139,000 miles on it. It was ok for about a month or so. One day I was checking oil and crap. I open up the Radiator over flow, Well it was like mud.. when your over flow looks like its full of mud =... as u all guess a cracked head gasket. I take it to a shop and the fix it for me and I drive it home (like 10 miles) and its ok for the night. The next morn I wake up hop in my car. My car starts shacking and my RPM gauge was going nuts I mean all over. I turn it off and call the shop and they come toe it. Later that day I get a call from them saying I cracked a piston. So they junked the engine and got a new one with 67,000 miles on it.

Sense I got it bad I bin very nice to Hunter (my car). I bin having trouble though on start up with it taking a few clicks to start up. Around the same time that happened Hunter seemed like he has bin working like a mad man. Sense I am taking a few clicks to start and he is over working I bin thinking spark plugs. It would explain why my car is running funny and also why its not starting right away.

could be plugs/wires. Also, what year is your car? The '97's are notorious for having fuel pumps that are slow to start up, so if you hop in & turn the key straight to crank, they don't start. You have to turn the key to run, wait a second or two, then crank it.
