I have a 04 saturn on a GMAC lease for 48 months I have just over two years left but really need to upgrade my ride to a truck. I would have thought there would be a easy way to upgrade to another GM product and just add the difference to my lease payments over a new 36 or 48 month lease and they would just be able to take back the Ion. Well I have started to look at the options and it does not appear to be that easy and the dealers seem to say that I need to pay out the full lease value remaining which will skyrocket the payments on the truck as I wold basically be paying for both the car and the truck. This does not seem right to me

Does anyone have an experience or advice for someone wanting to change their ride part way through a lease into another ride from the same company. I would have thought they would want my business and be happy to take more money.
