yeah, you can get the "man, that's a bi*** car" once in awhile.
then you line up against them and it changes to "man, that bi** is quick".

ppl trash talk when they don't know or don't understand. it's unfortunate that a lot of people have no automotive passion and are unable to see the potential of a car. those are also the kind to buy whatever the market tells them to.

Nothing like coming on a Saturn enthusiast site and asking if Saturns are any good. Of course they are! Especially since you have the dohc.

I love my lil SC2, i see very few people with one, they're a little harder to mod than a civic or acura but thats what makes them great. the work you put into it is far better that slappin some APC tailights on and looking like 2375465 other people. And as far as it being a 'b*tch's car' i've seen some VERY VERY sexy guys driving the hell out of saturns.... and im hoping by your friends calling saturns a 'b*tch's car' they mean a girls car...

BUY A SATURN. saturns are great

screw them?

you have an American car that gets 30+ miles to the gallon with parts very easy to find and doesnt dent with shopping carts.

Add to that one of the best safety records there is and I dont know what else you could want.

It depends on what you want. If you want to win races then a satty prolly isnt the best/easiest choice.

If you want a decent car with alot of upsides, then its a perfect choice. [/b]

WTF dude?

I totally agree with pikachu though when it comes to standing apart from the crowd... With the lack of a diverse aftermarket for Saturns, it nearly forces owners to actually do their own custom work to their car. Much better than slapping on some store-bought, factory-made, mass-produced items, as many import (and J-Body) owners can be seen doing.

The DOHC Saturn's are actually pretty nice stock vs. stock when it comes to a multitude of other cars in its class.
