Default Simple owner's manual question, please help me!!!!! 2000 SL1


Small red box with waves in the center (water I am assuming) and a down arrow. I do not have an owner's manual, can you please check yours? thank you for the assistants

that would be i believe coolant level....check ur coolant level asap...

coolant for sure, my 02 SC2 is ALWAYS low on coolant. and it runs like hell when its low too

Yep go check it..... mine gold one had a small crack... there for leaked...

Edit: check ur hoses for small leaks. just incase....

Just to play it safe, take a look at your radiator. See how it's got two plastic black end-tanks on the sides? Slowly rev up the engine (after adding the proper amount of coolant) with one hand (via the throttle body), and look carefully around these end-tanks. It's somewhat common for them to crack over time due to the expansion and contraction of the plastic. If you notice a certain spot bulge out and lightly leak fluid when you increase RPMs, you've got a radiator that needs replacing.
