SMS of San Diego calls it quits.

As of Friday May 20, 2005 Saturn MotorSports has closed down their operation in San Diego. So for you folks that have been calling to order parts please stop trying. I still have a good amount of stock on my shelves to weather the storm. Events are now in the works to keep the products flowing. The Pheniox of SMS will rise from the ashes and be better this next time around. As a distributor for SMS I met a lot of good people that loved tuning and styling their Satty's and look forward to helping you find great equipment in the future. I am setting up a network of Saturn Retailers that have stock to help facilitate current and future needs. Please bare with the retailers as this took them by surprise as much as it does you. The northeast Satty owners that have met me at the tracks know I 'm a true Saturn enthusiast and have high hopes of making Saturn the dominating force on the tracks. Bumps in the road are good. Sorry for rambling on, just upset.

i for one will miss saturn motorsports i had great fun hanging out at the tents when i was at the nopi events. keep us informed on whats going on

Is the NHRA ION going to be affected? Is there a list some where that has the names of all the after market companies that make products for Saturns? That would be a very easy way to find parts.

That really is too bad, sorry to see that. I had only been there once but would check things out form time to time online. But hey... if it reopens in phx... that's even better, that is much closer to me than San Diego.

Heather, there was an SMS dealer in Phoenix. Bruce who is part of the group bought into it. Although, I don't know what is going on with it now...
