Some people just want too much good stuff. If you have to sell yours and buy a car that does 0 to 60mph in 8 seconds instead of 9 seconds in the middle of traffic or on a highway then your an idiot.
As a saturn owner for years the plastic interior gets on my nerves much more than the exterior. Feels cheap and rattles are inevitable.

| whether it's slow or not depends on perspective. For a car to take to the track, it's slow. A stock SC2 with a good driving runs in the 15s. When we had our last big meet last year at the track up in Iowa, I think I could count the number of times another car there ran in the 15s or slower on one hand.
For an A to B car, it's pretty quick, though. It has all the power someone should ever need (though maybe not as much as some would want) in traffic.
It just depends on what the owner wants out of the car. |

It just depends on what the owner wants out of the car. | Exactly. On the road the modified S-Series is pretty quick. Saturn Sx1/2's are not track cars.

| lol i did..
there's going to be a time when replacing parts just gets old, and expensive, and you look at the overall money spent and see that getting a newer, nicer ride is better in most cases
i dunno, i could've put a new tranny in my satty and prob driven it another 100K but life is short, and if you can afford to get better, why not
although i did go through my "i hate my effing piece of sheet" moments.. |
