Default You live in SC????

I am moving to South Carolina and I need to know the laws on what mods I can have done on my car. Where I live you cant have tinted windows, windshield banners, and you cant remove the cat. If you have any info that might help let me know.

Thanks[/b]

The non-legality of removing the cat is a federal thing, not a state thing, so that won't change.

You can't have tinted windows in SC... I find that very hard to believe...

There's a difference between tinted windows and blacked-out windows... I'm guessing SC has the limit set at 40% or higher for the front windows.

I live in South Carolina. I have never had a problem with my car and I have A LOT of customization done to my Saturn.

Check out site at - http://www.cardomain.com/id/saturn2000ls1

Then again, police begin to harass me until they see that I'm female. They let me go then.

I dont need to worry about exaust then?? I got a ticket in new york for my exhaust being too loud. I also know here in vermont people have recieved tickets for any tint on front windows or windshield (can be as dark as you want on back), windshield decals or banners, tires too far past fenders.

Some police like to be pricks and pick on a few about their exhaust/tint/banner/etc. However, typically, those people cause it on themselves by rev'ing up, system blasting, drawing attention to themselves, etc. If you are "adult" about your ride and not trying to show out in small towns, you should have no problems.

The police in my town are very anal. However, they don't mess with me because they know I'm not trouble!
