Please Help Reach Out to Those Impacted by Hurricane Katrina

The following letter written by Saturn's General Manager Jill Lajdziak was sent to me by a concerned SaturnFans.com visitor. A Hurrican Katrina relief fund has been set up by Saturn Corporation to aid New Orleans area Saturn team members. Our thoughts and prayers are with all those whose lives have been affected by this storm.
Dear Saturn Team Members, Retail Team Members, Agency Partners, and Owners,
This has undoubtedly been one of the most challenging weeks in the history of our country. We have all felt extreme sadness and shock as updated reports continue to come out of the Gulf States devastated by Hurricane Katrina. The purpose of this communication is to let you know what we'reworking on to help support those affected by this natural disaster.
In addition to immediate aid being delivered by the General Motors Foundation, there has been an outpouring of concern among the Saturn Community about those team members directly affected by the hurricane. The team members most severely affected are those at Saturn of New Orleans, Saturn of Metairie, and Saturn of Slidell. As you're well aware, the infrastructure has been severely compromised in this area and it will take many months to rebuild. Many team members are struggling to rebound.
It goes without saying that these team members need our help. While needs will undoubtedly change in the upcoming months, currently financial help is needed the most. With this in mind, I am urging you to reach out to those in need with a financial donation. A fund has been established to support our New Orleans Retail Team Members - as many of them will suffer long-term effects of the hurricane and the subsequent flooding. 100% of the monies collected will be allocated to these team members and will be prioritized by need.
At Saturn, we have long given of ourselves to support one another and our communities. I have no doubt that we once again will rise to the occasion and provide for our team members in need. In the coming weeks, we will provide updates concerning how your generosity is helping those who help make our Saturn Brand what it is. I offer my best regards for your efforts to aid our Saturn Family.
