Lajdziak also confirmed that there would be no Sky Green Line or hybrid edition, at least "not this generation." The current version of the Sky is too small to accommodate a hybrid battery pack.

Because a lot of people don't care about performance, just looks and fuel economy. Plus, it's possible to have extra performance from a hybrid, so it would just depend on the packaging. Still, probably best not to spend the $$ required to make a Green Line model.

How many convertibles out there are Hybrids? NONE LOL. Wouldnt u rather have a nice convertible with POWER????? I would. Im not tryin to be and A$$ but this is what I think

Well, considering the Vue Green Line is based off the same 2.4L Ecotec that's in the base Sky, it's not like it would lose any power over the base Sky...

And asking how many convertibles are hybrids is probably more of a reason FOR a Green Line Sky than against one.

I do agree that I would personally prefer a performance Sky, a la Red Line, but I tend to look at these things from a broader market standpoint. *shrug* I'm just wierd like that.

Thats good to know. I work for a saturn dealer in elk grove CA and i know that we are not marking up any sky cars. Not even the redline when we get them.

It's not Saturn that gouges the prices of their convertables, it's Pontiac. I've seen a USED base ass Solstice selling for $29,000.
