Lightbulb Redline Front Sway Bar

Does anyone know if the Redline front sway bar and bushings will bolt inplace of the factory sway bar on my 07 Ion sedan? What about one from a Cobalt SS? I have found that Eibach makes an aftermarket front bar for the SS, part#3899.310, which is cheaper than going to Saturn for the Redline bar if it's even still availible. I have a rear progress bar, Bwoody front end links, and 17" Konig wheels, but the sedan still rolls over in the nose under hard cornering. I have a set of B&G drop springs coming, I want the car to stick flat in the twisties. Thanks!

So far as I know the frames are the same so it should fit. I don't recall hearing if it being done so you may be the first to try. The Cobalt SS I don't know about at all.

Thumbs up

Thanks, I got a used bar from an 05 Cobalt SS on e bay, I figured it was worth the $55 to find out. It looks like it will fit, it at least appears to be the right shape. My stock bar measures just under 3/4", and this measures just under 1". As soon as I get it installed, or try to, I'll post my results!
