Default 93 engine needed

What engines will fit in a 93 sw-1. I am new to saturn's and lost a blew a head gasket. The motor has 200,000 on her. I bought a 95 sc-1 engine thinking it would work from what I was told. Now I am told it will not work. The sw-1 is tbi and the 95 is mpi. Any help would be appriciated.

Will.

im pretty sure all the Saturns engines from the s series are the same just wap them out but the only thing your going to have trouble is getting auto or manual through the holes and if the cars computer is for it or not there is a difference between single or double overhead cam and multi port fuel injection and a carb so we need all the details for the two cars befor we jump to any thing

Thanks. From what I can tell the only diff. is that the 93 is tbi and the 95 is mpi. The intake gaskets are different. I think I'm going to go for the swap. Worst case I can think of is I will have to rtv the two different gasket types together to get them to match? If not. I'll just take the tractor loader and pull the car outside until I get the problem resolved. IE, a different head I hope. Thanks for the input.

Will.

AWESOME, THANKS. I am thinking my only concern is mating the 93 throttle body intake to the 95 multi port injection head? Hopefully someone has done this and can confirm doing it.
Both motors are sohc. The 95 is out of an auto. The 93 is a manual.

the difference is not in the head. swap the entire 93 intake manifold, sensors, tb, etc onto the 95 head and your good to go
