March 29th Meet - Page 3

I've decided that we're going to Mason Dixon Dragway this Saturnday for
the 2nd meet. Gates open at 12, which is when I'll be there,racing
starts at 2 and ends at 10 so we could all definitely get several runs
in. It's $25 to race, $5 to watch. I will be racing, but if some of you
dont want to, thats cool. We'll need a SPOC MD cheering section and
someone to videotape LOL. And if you cant make it early, dont sweat it.
People will be arriving all day at different times, Im sure. Here's the

I'm still planning on going. I won't know for sure until tomorrow when my car will be done, but I'm hoping. I obviously won't be racing

Plus, the drive gives me an excuse to break in the motor. Heheh.

No i didn't make it up....i learned it in Drivers Ed! But seriously Ray, i highly doubt that Pat and i will make it, to long of a drive, if only it was a little closer, but you never know.
Drivers trance is serious **** though man, i remember this one time i was drivin home from Pat's house in the weee hours of the morn, and i sware, i could see every little partical hitting my windsheild, than i started halusinating seeing object jump out infront of my car since he lives out in the sticks....crazy crazy stuff!

Whelp, it looks like this is going to be the maiden voyage of the new setup

I just got off the phone with my shop. I called to check the status of my SL2, and the owner asked to speak to me. He apologized for the rebuild taking two weeks, and explained that 2 of his techs were out all last week, so they didn't get a chance to work on my ride, but he then said they were going to be pulling my car into the bays tomorrow morning or afternoon to begin the swap, and he promised me they would have my car back in my hands by the end of the week (which I assume means Friday since the techs don't work weekends), or else he'd only charge me 1/2 price for all the labor. I was like HELL YEAH! So that means I'm getting the car back by Friday and paying normal cost or if it doesn't get finished till early next week, I only owe 1/2. SWEET!! Damn, now I don't know if I want the car on time or if I want to save an extra grand, haha

DAMN I'M PUMPED!
