Default Maryland International Raceway.

I don't know if anyone's ever been there. It's in Mechanicsville, MD. They have open Street class racing on Friday nights starting in April. I was thinking we could all go down there on a Friday and check it out. I don't know about everyone else, bu I wanna race You can check out all the info here.http://mirdrag.com/classrules/midnightm.htm

Yes a track can be to sticky. My worst times are at that track. When a few uf us went for battle imports vs domestics Not one saturn got a good time. Our cars just bogged down realy bad. couple of cars broke axels there Non saturns. I broke one tranny and i dont wanna break anything else. Thats a tough track.

15.3 Dizzam, that's good. I dont see what the problem is with a sticky track. Just gotta alter your take-off technique a little.

I wasn't a big fan of MIR either last time I went.

I hadn't been since the remodeling/repaving of the track, so I didn't know what to expect.

The track was so sticky that I bogged down off the line and only got a 15.2 (spraying my 75shot). I know next time to spray right from the launch. I didn't think it'd be so sticky so I didn't spray in 1st gear.

MIR rebuilt the booths, but i don't know if they paved the track again from 2002. The track is sticky from all the VHT they put on it for the cars with slicks. You need to feather the clutch on the launch at MIR, or you will bog in the stickiness.
