Default what i fear

ok i started writting all this to go into the s-icon post thats in the Styling modifications part of the borads but i went off on so manny tangents and so far off topic it didnt fit any more so i figured id put it here. just cus it was too good (i felt) to just delete.

now with that said........ FLAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAMMMMMMEEEEEEEEEEE awaaaaaaaaayyyyyyyyyyy

personally i just want to see the site up and running. Im tired of that same old web sites that have been around for god only knows how long now, and they all have been the same since the begining. S-icon was (from what i remember) going to be the no.1 saturn source for all sorts of stuff and that excited me. Back in the day saturnfans was that but now it might as well be about deawoos or some thing cus it grew old and stale.

all and all i think its time to stop trieing to make dents to show were here but time to start dropping buildings. Since the Ion has com out with the ecotec in it i see the death of saturn. Dont get me wrong id like to have a quad coupe(does any one but me see the retartedness in the name) red line series slamed on 18's baged and running 12's in the 1/4. but its an ecotec. SMS has there 8 second car and thats what going to get the attention. what about every one who fought and screamed for years now. i bet all the 1st 2nd and 3rd gens will get phased out of the market b/c no one ever pushed or hyped up the TRUE saturn powerplant and now that the already accomplished ecotec is under the hood why bother doing any more r&d on the unpopular saturn powerplant.

the saturn performance comunity that exists now i feel will slowly dwindle out and and soon saturns will be talked about on message boards that deal only in the ecotec familly.

to forget the past is to abandon the future, the quad coupe is nice but id take a 95 sc-2 over it any day of the week.

but that, is just my opinoin.

all s-icon sells directly is the bodykits we have done through buy ins and polished cam covers / powdercoated parts. the deal w/ s-icon is that we plan to direct everyone to where they can purchase saturn parts at the very cheapest price to you, the consumer...... if you need any info about parts then email me directly and i'll get the information you requested. all these people complain about how the site isn't up, however they just keep complaining instead of emailing me after i tell them time and time again. i'll get you the information you desire, or send you to someone who will get the info you need........

daniel@s-icon.com

thanks,
daniel

you also have to look at it the other way lots of people complain about it not b/c they are looking for specific info but looking for info in general. Websites are like flyers or magazines really. And your web site is a new one for people to look at. its been said to come out, every ones like OOOOOOOOOOOOOOHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
WOO HOO one more week........... then nothing for MONTHS.

i personaly under stand when your busy some things have to wait in a bussiness, but when in buissiness you are there to accomidate the consumer wether you like it or not and you at times are requiered to bend to there will b/c if you dont, it can look bad one you.

and like i said my post started as a "when will s-icon be up." post but i went so off topic so fast its not even funny.

i personally cant wait for s-icon to open just b/c its a new site to gander at offten. like a magazine.

kinda raw but its the truth

me and eric both go to school full time and have other jobs on the outside as well (also i'm in a fraternity). as you can plainly see, both of us are extremely busy and i don't know much about computers to help w/ the website at all. i'm here to answer any questions and i can find any information you seek, but as always school comes first in my book.......

daniel is helping out from here even though the shop is in KY. I'm in a similar situation w/ a shop called MDR as soon as it opens up, so I can relate. Just because he's not physically there he can be just as helpful to consumers and the company itself. Anyway, I'd just have some patience w/ S-Icon. As soon as they get everything together and open the site it will be worth it.
