From what I have been looking I am starting to head into narrowing down the car I want most. I have looked at tons of sites, and sorry for whoever suggested checking the consumer website, I did and they wanted me to pay for it so I opted that idea in the trash bin.
This is what I found so far and I am going to keep an eye out for more news to see if there is anything else, but right now I am really liking the Vue and the Ion. Not sure I can work into such a small car (Vue) but we will see its test drive weekend! 2008 Saturn VUE SAB Crash RatingsFrontal (driver's): 4 of 5 Side (driver's): 5 of 5 2007 Saturn ION SAB Crash RatingsFrontal (driver's): 5 of 5 Side (driver's): 3 of 5 2007 Saturn ION SAB Crash RatingsFrontal (driver's): 5 of 5 Side (driver's): 4 of 5 2007 Saturn Relay SAB Crash RatingsFrontal (driver's): 5 of 5 Side (driver's): 4 of 5 2007 Saturn VUE SAB Crash RatingsFrontal (driver's): 5 of 5 Side (driver's): 5 of 5 Source |

The Vue isn't a small car(let alone SUV which is bigger than most cars) unless your previous was a Suburban, lol. I'm not sure what your criteria are for a new vehicle so I can't really give too much advice. However as for the Consumer Reports check your library. Lots of them keep a subscription int he periodical section.

Are they coming to pick you up from your front door for your test drive? LOL I still think that is such a wonderful idea. I wonder why the 2007 Vue does better in the frontal crash ratings than the 2008? I've read that they have gotten rid of the hard-to-dent plastic body plates in the 2008 but I can't seem to find what they replaced them with. The 2008 is certainly classier looking, though - a much cleaner, sleeker look.
