Joey's been busy runnin his buisness I would imagine.

If you're doing a same year, same engine swap, I don't see why you'd need a new harness.

I got all of my equipment from the junkyard and it all didn't cost me no more than $150 I"m talkin' harness, computer, and headers. YES I said headers. Let me share a very nice treat with you in case if you didn't know. The 91 and 92's ONLY!! came with factory 4-2-1 headers. The same type you see on SPS for $180+ and all these other sites that want a fortune for something Saturn offered for free. I spend alot of time down there and I run across a lot of good deals as far as engs and trans. Man when I saw that, I JERKED those headers off QUICK and home boy sold them to me for $80. Took'em home, fired up my die grinder and wire brushed all of the surface rust off of them and they look like polished aluminum!!!! But anyway NO you don't have to change your relay box. There are 2 different harnesses just to let you know. I ran into that problem the first time I jerked one out of a 95 SL2. It was like night and day. Got it to the house and realized that it wasn't going to work UNLESS I rewired the relay box and I said F@%K that. So I went back and jerked one out of a 92 SL2 and JACKPOT!! It goes right in with no problem because there is an inner connection inside your car right below the ECM that branches off inside to other stuff. So the engine management harness is the only replacement, NOT the instrument cluster or tailights and stuff like that. If you have any yards you can hit up, I strongly recommend it because it will save you LOTS of dough unless your pride stops you from doing that. Give me a shout if you need more help.....

Peace

Default swap

I just dont like how he says there is only two years you can use..
I left my dohc harness on the engine and took it out whole. from a 94
I paid 300 for a whole car with 89k sold everything and kept the motor trans etc.. made out like a bandit.

1371 is correct, you NEED the early twin cam harness to put any year twin cam into a 91-94 single. only a couple year twin cam harness's will work as the underhood junction box is diffrent after 95. and of course, the 91-2 engine and pcm combos were just flat out pain in the ass's to work with. i use late 92-3-4 harness's and PCM'S usually to do later swaps. of course, when youve done HUNDREDS of every imaginable swap, theres variables out the azz.... like setting up a 02 twin to go into a 91 single, BUT ANY AND ALL saturn s series engines and trannys can be made to fit any year , model saturn
sorry i havent been around, im home recovering from hip surgery.
