Help,no spark

93 saturn sc2,300k miles. Had no spark to the two inner plugs. Replaced coil pack and ran good for a few days then same thing happened. Replaced coil pack again and nothing. Replaced crank positioning sensor and still nothing. Cleaned the backing plate on the ign. module also. What is going on? Please help! Also replaced plugs and wires.

Welcome to the Board.

Hit a wrecking yard and get a replacement ignition module. They don't go often but witheverything else replaced that is about the only thing left. That and the few times that I have seen a module go bad it went with not firing two of the cylinders.

Could that coil I replaced twice(Autozone) be bad? How about the coolant sensor? Ignition module,is that what the coil packs sit on? Thank You!

Swap the coils. If the lack of spark follows tghe coil then the coil is bad. Chance are you woudl not get a couple of bad coils in a row.
Coolant temp sensor will not affect the ignitions sytem.
Ignition module is what the coils plug onto/sit on.

Thank you for the help. Ever heard of anyone getting over 300k on a Saturn? Is she about done or should I put more money in her and keep it until it drops?
