-Alpine MRP-M500 amplifier
-Alpine Type S component Speakers
-Custom built ported 12" Sub Woofer Box
-4 Farad Capacitor
-Kicker RCA Cables
-Wrapped trim in Carbon Fiber Decal

-Customer of mine just gave me complete set of 18" aluminum wheels wrapped with Falken tires, install later this week
-Just bought a pioneer double din display and i even found a saturn dash kit. Once i re-wrap carbon fiber and get the double din installed, it will look sick.

As good as rockstar is, please put it in the cup holder! lmao!

Looks like a nice set up! Does it have a clear sound? or is it more bass?

And the upcoming list you have, can be a separate post in the Ion thread. It looks good so far. I paid 80 for a set of headlights on amazon.

Gotcha. The type S component speakers I put in really bring out the sound so the Bass doesn't drown out my mid range and high range sound frequencies too bad. Once I put in the 4 channel amplifier to power the mids, it will have a proportional high range to mid range to low range volume. However that Alpine Type R hits really hard, I have it running at half power and you can feel it standing quite a ways away from the car. And it does perform well with different types of music, I had some Bullet for My Valentine blasting and you can feel every bass drum hit with no distortion. $1200 well spent :o Since my Saturn does rattle a bit, I might invest in some Dynomat to dampen the ambient noise and that will also with rattling. I'm gonna probably go with those $80 dollar head lights your talking about and then stick an HID kit behind them.

You had me at Bullet for my Valentine!!!
I have a list of things I need to do before I can start working on sound, but you seem to know your stuff, so don't be surprised if I come asking you question!

I like the way it looks with that carbon wrap!

nice setup, dude. Just be aware that with saturns, killing the rattle you hear now may create another one in the process. Not trying to be a downer, just a realist. You'll put in the dampener, and cushion away some of the squeaks n rattles but others will likely appear.

Don't get frustrated -- just be patient, and keep an open mind.

I find a piece of a business card folded in half stops the plexiglass of the dash from rattling against the frame of the dash on my S cars --- during winter.

Whatever works.....

Thanks for the advice. The only rattles I'm coming across so far are the trunk lid, and the big plastic piece that sits under the rear window. At some point I'm going to try putting some dynomat under the trunk lid and underneath that plastic piece I'm talking about. Then put some sort of rubber washer behind the bolts of the license plate on all the bolts around the trunk lid.
