I think that the factory brakes are enough, but some people really like the look of expensive brakes.
In most cases, the tires are the weakest link in braking. Once you can't lock up a wheel, that's when brakes can be improved. Also, when people add huge wheels to a car that wasn't built for them, that can go beyond the limit of stack brakes. The same goes for a car with much added weight.

If you need new rotors, you could look into it...if you're buying it just to upgrade, I'd spend your money elsewhere. As was said, a good set of tires and hawk pads are the best brake upgrades.
You can probably find the rotors cheaper than cardomain, too.

The brakes on this satty are shot.Rotors are ate up an in very bad need of pads.An I figured I would replace the rotors with the drilled an slotted rotors an some good pads.I plan on adding 17 in rims in the future an doing a rear disc conversion. But if they are a waste of money Ill just buy normals an put my money into somthing else! Thanks for all of your opinions its appriciated.Take Care,Eric[1RADSAT]

You guys have been dealing with saturns alot longer than I have so Ill definatley take your advice an put the money into somthing else that is needed for the car.I am trying to get the last few things fixed on it so I can finally tag an insure an drive it.Then I can start working on upgrades an improvements. One thing I am really having trouble finding is a new or used front bumper cover for a 95 sc2.I got the fog light assembly an dust cover but the bumper cover on the one in the junk yard wasnt worth even attempting to get or fix.The dust cover wasnt either but I took it anyways.I really like the looks of that bumper cover compaired to the one that is on mine.Plus everything body wize from the quarters back is now 95 anyways.I know their are a couple body kits for my model, but I dont care for the looks of them. The one would be ok with a few changes made to it?Well Ill stop rambling.Their is so much that I want to do to my saturn,But with being disabled only so much I can do each month.Patience[ha,ha]an time is my only enemy! Thanks again an everyone take care.Eric[1RADSAT]
