Default Question about suspension

So I just bought an 03 Vue and I've left it alone for a week and now its bothering me. It sits up like a monster truck, the stock wheels make me mad and well.... its boring. I'd like to lower it and put some 19's on it, BUT I lowered my SC2 and put some 17's with low profile tires on that and the ride suuuuuuucked. My question is: If I were to put the Vue Redline springs on my Vue and then some 19's with FATTY tires would the ride be awful? I'm having a baby in March and I want to be happy with what I drive but not bounce my kid all over while I drive. Any suggestions (besides to just leave it alone)?

C'mon now Tai, it's made for going through snow. I remember hearing you complain about how the SC2 sucked in the winters. I have trouble leaving my vehicles stock too, trust me, but sometimes it pays off with the convenience.

you can lower the vue fine and not have ride quality issues at all

I wouldn't go larger than 18" through in terms of rim size

we just did my buddy's a few weeks back, I think they're Sprint springs

Actually I like that too... That was the Vue I WANTED.

Thank you for reminding me that the bigger I go with rims the more the ride gets worse. I think 18's will do just fine and as for winter maybe I'll ACTUALLY KEEP THE STOCK WHEELS and swap em out like everyone else in WI does for winter. :P

how bout you put a 6 inch lift on it, put some 15's with some 40'' boggers on it, a blower, and then maybe some dana 60s. then of course you'll probably have to lengthen the rear driveshaft and put a telescoping yoke on it, and then maybe you could put some beefier brakes to handle the larger rotating mass...... o wait its a fwd suv. :P

I know your probably a saturn nut, but cmon, a saturn suv? why dont you just get either the redline edition,( i test drove one of those, it wasnt bad,but it wasnt worth it either,) or get a 4wd subby. they are more comfortable, look better, and have a much better driveline.

btw, that sc looks awsome. what kind of rims are those?

Wanted the Redline, the bank said no. Wanted the AWD V6, my insurance said no. So the boring 4 banger FWD for me If I had any sense I'd leave it alone because its suppost to be my 'now I'm grown up car', we'll see.

You still got the SC2? If so, leave the Vue how it is.

just bc your an adult doesnt mean that you have to have a "grown up car" , just one that is practical, and can hall some ppl around. like a sw2 or even a wrx wagon. just as long as its not a camry, corolla, fusion, malibyu, intrepid, etc. just get something that is fun. and about the redline, if you get the springs, and the body kit, you basically have the same thing. the interior in it is UGLY. make it a redline if you can.
