Unlocking Doors in Drive
I know that all the doors can be unlocked when you put the gear shift in "Park" but my question is there some way that you can unlock a door to for a passenger to exit with the vehicle in "D" at the curb?.. The manual states the this cannot be done.

As always the year, model and engine info is helpful.
Does manually unlocking the door work? The locks should unlock when using the switch. I have unlocked them with the power switch when driving cars into my bay at work.
