I have just the base HU in the Vue. The sound isn't very good in my opinion. I don't want to loose the on-star and steering wheel controls for the radio. I don't wank to spend a bunch of $ on a new HU and all the harnesses to make all those gadgets work. I have already upgraded the speakers. I am just look for additional bass. I was hoping this may give me a better bass using the stock HU. I dont want a thumper that wakes up the neighbors, just something with a little better sound.

I installed the tube and it sounds great. Prefect for I wanted. It really added depth to the sound of the stock system
