This winter certainly hasn't been kind but both Saturns are coping well. I did a thermostat mod to both last fall; that & winterfronts keep engine hot & passengers comfortable. Had to replace SW2 rad last week thanks to a local "mechanic"s incompetence; the 1200 km round trip I just did to Edmonton went well. Coped w/ freezing rain on the way up & an 8in snow dump early AM of return. Passed a few highway sno-plows. Turns out the SW2 has good legs on a 4 lane. Arrived back home to the same 8in of snow; am impressed w/ how both cars are able to get around in that much snow, albeit slowly. Spent 3+ hrs yesterday w/ our snowblower cleaning up mother natures latest. Both Saturns are coping well; w/ synthetic oil will start even @ -45 if (someone) forgets to plug in.
