Default 92 sl1

Well, if my sister ever gets her license, I think I will surprise her with some mods for the 92 as a congratulations.
Unfortunately, it is an automatic, so not as much fun.
But thinking about once I get my tax return, going to play at the junk yard and get some pieces needed for the car (just the dumb plastics), and look to see if I can find some nice 16s for it from a later gen (if not something nicer). Maybe even a spoiler. Just because a spoiler on a FWD car is cool.

But the real fun would be an exhaust, intake, and full suspension with a slight drop. It seems like it would be a nice handling car if money is spent in the right places.

I loved my completely stock 92 SL2. Couldn't squeal the tires on a turn. It would walk sideways rather than skid. Generally stuck to the road like glue. On the stock Firestone Firehawk GTA's which tey no longer make. Those were all season performance 40K tires but worth the fun.

If you're lookin to spend some hard returned cash on that puppy, remember back then ihe SOHC was only 85 HP, not 100 like it was in later years.

Price out a DOHC swap ---oh but crap gotta take the tranny and wiring harness with it--> whole donor car.. Maybe not so cost effective after all.......

just a thought....gone bad.....

I was just thinking.
Seems like most parts are interchangeable. I will not buy another motor unless I blow that one up.
But, maybe taking the best feature of each gen and putting it together. All junk yard finds.
I think I read somewhere the 92 has the best exhaust manifold and head.

If that is true, figure out which has the best TB, IM, and do all the above mention.
